Biography:

Dan Lever is currently the head football coach at Silverton High School in Silverton, OR. He was appointed to the position in March 2022 after resigning as head coach at Tualatin High, where he compiled an impressive 39–15 record over five seasons, including a trip to the Class 6A state championship game in 2021.

Before his stint at Tualatin, Lever served as head coach at Gervais High (2010) and held various assistant roles at Southeastern Oklahoma State University, University of Puget Sound, and Santa Barbara City College.

A Canby High School graduate and former collegiate player at Linfield College, Lever has deep roots in Oregon football. He also boasts a rich athletic pedigree: he earned 11 varsity letters in football, wrestling, track, and baseball during high school, was twice an Oregon state wrestling qualifier, and is the great-grandson of Linfield’s legendary coach Henry Lever.

Coach Lever emphasized family and community in his move to Silverton—his family relocated into the Silver Falls School District, aligning work and personal life, with his two children now attending local schools.

Since taking the helm, Has taken the Foxes to the OSAA semifinals in 2023 and 2024 while winning the league championship in his first three years. He’s maintained Silverton’s tradition of excellence, continuing the program’s status as a powerhouse in Oregon’s Class 5A football
