Girls Basketball Opens Season With Big Win

The Silverton Girls Basketball team opened the 2018-19 campaign with a 73-19 win over Hood River. The Foxes came into the season with some holes to fill after last years graduating class, but in the opener the team defense and uptempo attack was too much for Hood River. Football Advances to Quarter-Finals

The Silverton football team opened the post season with a 50-26 win against Parkrose Friday night. The Foxes took a 27-18 lead into halftime, before pulling away. The Silverton girls soccer team traveled to Ridgeview Wednesday in the round of 16 for the OSAA State Tournament. The Foxes used a penalty kick to capture an early 1-0 lead and held on for a thrilling 1-0 victory on the road. With the win, Silverton moves on to the quarter finals on Saturday. The Foxes

Boys Soccer Wins in First Round

The Silverton Boys soccer team faced Springfield in the first round of the OSAA state tournament and came away with a 3-0 victory. The Foxes are the number 4 seed out of the MWC and will travel to South Albany for the quarter final match Saturday at noon. The two teams played to a draw
